New Project

Our Favourite Tree Project

A community celebration of trees, landscapes and stories across the Epping Forest District — culminating in a 160‑page hardcover book and public exhibition.

In partnership with EFDC Countrycare. Photographed & designed by John Price and Chloe Price. Edited by Tricia Moxey.

Celebrating Nature, Community & Creativity

First launched by Epping Forest District Council in 2006, 50 Favourite Trees returns with a new vision by ANVOB. We invited local people, artists and writers to share their favourite trees from public spaces across the district (excluding the Epping Forest itself). The submission period has now ended.

  • 🌿Submissions are now closed as the project moves into selection and curation.
  • 📍Trees must be visible from public space and accessible for others to visit.
  • 🗓️Selected entries will appear in the book and exhibition.
